Good thing we found this shelf on the side of the road for free or where would we put all our food?
We printed out a meal planner so that we can plan our meals weekly.
So far, so good (but it's been less than a week.... so yeah...)

This is what the apartment looked like when we showed up at 4:00 a.m. last Sunday.
As you can see, it looks pretty drab...
But not anymore! Welcome to our home!
We just got all those fruits from Bountiful Basket.
Yay, bed! We love our bedding from Bed, Bath, & Beyond.
Here's our desk; this took longer than anything else to set up. Look at our adorable D.I. salvaged lamp. Cost: $3, and it makes the desk look so cute. You should have seen the hideous lamp they had on the desk before. I'll remind you...
It took up a huge portion of the desk and looked ridiculous on top of our drawers.
We got that "entertainment center" from the Bulletin Board. A couple that is moving sold it to us for $25. It is really nice and included 6 of those little cubby drawers. LOVE IT! We got a ton of stuff from the bulletin board at ridiculously low prices, but more on that later at Broke Wife.
At first, I hated this couch, but it's kinda grown on me. AND, it's a pull-out bed which pretty much rocks. It's pretty comfy and red so it matches our bed.
Note: the doilies on our coffee table are from our wedding centerpieces.
What is that? A POOL? Yeah, it's pretty awesome... except it isn't open yet because of all the construction. We tend to leave the blinds closed so we aren't reminded of the fact that there's a pool that we can't yet swim in.
It is a very cute little pool though.

So, basically, our apartment rocks. We LOVE it, and we love having our own place together. Hope you've enjoyed the tour. We'll be posting other pictures of our adventures as the adventures come.
